You are still using ONE ssh account, but each user gives you a public key which you append to your .ssh/authorized_keys2 file on your 1and1 server. That way, anyone who has a pub key on your server can ssh in with your one ssh account without ever knowing your password.

How did you make 1and1 to append you key?
They answering that they don’t allow multiple ssh.

i m using windows sytem to access a repository on a linux machine. after doing everything when i try to execute step 17, it says “bad URL passed to RA layer”
